Greenbush - The Education Service Center is seeking applications for a Medicaid Provider Relations at our main campus in Girard.

Summary:
Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Greenbush Medicaid Billing Consortium, a consortium of school districts, special education providers, and early intervention providers.
Responsible for district and early childhood network training and relations.
Lead contact for the department with software processing partners and state agencies.
Supervise staff in remote and in-person settings.
A valid driver's license is required for employment.
REAL ID is required if air travel is necessary to complete job duties.
Qualifications:
Required:
1.
High school diploma or certificate of equivalency.
2.
3-4 years of medical billing experience.
3.
3-4 years of customer relations experience.
4.
Extensive experience including, but not limited to advanced spreadsheets, data management, word processing, and scanning systems.
5.
Observation of strict confidentiality of records.
Preferred:
1.
Bachelor's degree and medical records experience.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
1.
Manages data to maximize Kansas Medicaid reimbursement based on student-level services.
2.
Coordinates third-party billing for internal audiology services.
3.
Coordinates required claim-level data with the assigned client liaison and external billing partner.
4.
Provides individual and group training to consortium members at both the provider and district administrator levels.
5.
Maintains accurate enrollment for districts and networks utilizing Kansas Medical Assistance Program protocols.
6.
Maintains confidentiality for all aspects of the business as required by HIPAA and FERPA.
7.
Coordinates day-to-day interactions with external billing partners to ensure member access to the online reporting portal.
8.
Reviews trends in pre- and post-processing issues.
9.
Assigns workflow to staff to ensure timely and accurate submission of claims.
10.
Acts as the main contact with Kansas Medical Assistance Program.
11.
Completes data analysis to maximize reimbursements and communicates best practices and strategies to members General

7.
Must demonstrate proficiency in the ability to effectively and regularly communicate with Service Center employees and constituents.
8.
Must complete all assignments in a time-sensitive manner as determined by Supervisor.
9.
Must meet all safety requirements as directed by the Service Center.
10.
Must perform other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director or designee.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires occasional lifting and moving of boxes of records and equipment with a maximum of 40 pounds.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
